Through a Partnership with Heavy.com, Guys Everywhere are Invited
to Vote for the Ultimate Beauty to Best Represent Howard TV On Demand
New York, Feb. 5 – Every month during 2009, a beautiful and sexy woman was crowned Miss Howard TV by Howard Stern and his Howard TV On Demand staff. Now, Howard TV has partnered with the popular men’s website Heavy.com for a contest to select which of the 12 monthly stars will have the honor of being crowned Miss Howard TV of the Year. Now anyone in the online audience can check out and vote for their favorite woman at www.heavy.com/howardtv from now until March 5, 2010. There, they’ll find each woman’s multimedia entry detailing why they feel they should be the Miss Howard TV of the Year 2009. On March 24, the winner will be announced on www.howard.tv and heavy.com/howardtv. In addition, she will be on the Howard Stern Show and a Howard TV On Demand original special that day, and a featured photo spread on Heavy.com at a later date.
On the special website (microsite) created for the contest: www.heavy.com/howardtv, voters can check out each competitor’s entry, including photos, Q&A and a blog. Each month, Miss Howard TV spokes-models are interviewed on the Howard Stern Show and then featured on Howard TV On Demand where they introduce that month’s programming. All spokes-models are also profiled on http://www.howard.tv/missHowardTV, which is one of the most popular features on the site.
Doug Z. Goodstein is the Executive Producer for Howard TV On Demand. Mike Gange is Supervising Producer. Miss Howard TV of the Year will be overseen by Vincent Onorati, Director of Online Marketing for iN DEMAND, parent company of Howard TV. This is the second year of the contest. Last year’s contest garnered over 350,000 votes. The winner also gets a cash prize of $1,000 and an exclusive, specially designed Miss Howard TV diamond necklace from Steven Singer Jewelers.
