In 1992, Stefani made her debut as front woman for No Doubt, a third wave ska band. The band's album 'Tragic Kingdom' in 1995 drove them to fame, and it sold over fifteen million copies worldwide. The band's popularity went down with 'Return of Saturn' in 2000, but 'Rock Steady', which introduced reggae production into their music, was generally well-accepted in 2001.
